We could always put in place a rule about X number of Innings Pitched (e.g., 75 innings) or X number of At-Bats (e.g., 400 or so).

As far as prospect goes..........is the guy on your minor league roster or minor league system at the end of last year. If so, then he can stay there and doesn't have to be brought up even if he makes the opening day roster. If a guy, like Jon Lester, breaks camp and vies for a starting job, but gets sent down to AAA when opening day starts for whatever reason, then he would then be able to be placed on the minor league protected list. A reminder, however, that guys like Justin Upton / Alex Gordon / Tim Lincecum / Luke Hochevar / etc. would still not be able to be sent down because they were drafted in our Major League drafts.

I'm willing to deal this pick (along with one or more of the above-mentioned players) for some combo of player(s) / prospect(s) / minor league pick(s).
Let me know... Otherwise, I'll make the pick in about 2 hours.

Well, thank goodness for this... sports.espn.go.com/mlb/spring2007/news/story?id=2808345 I had a nice 1-2 punch with Papelbon & Nathan at Closer in 2006 and was not looking forward to the drop in Saves production from Papelbon to Ryan Dempster. Long-term, there's still a strong possibility that Papelbon moves to the rotation.

Zemtech posted this in the draft thread.... I think the answer is the latter, where we decide when they come up. I think Haggstown was convinced to modify the rules here.
Of course, we'll wait for him to chime in with the official final answer.

If Osborne hasn't posted by Thursday evening......which I'm sure he will..........I'm going to upload the rosters into yahoo and he can then add or whatever he wants to do to fill out his lineup.
Also, BrownieInHB needs to get into the yahoo league..............
