Regretfully, I only received a 1 player list from GPF (via Haggstown)... Looks like we'll have to wait this one out.
WV has now cornered the market on Catchers.

I'll throw this out there..............I guess some people have had a few questions as to the rule as - once opening day rosters are up and rookies that are on the opening day rosters, we will have to add them to our teams and then drop someone off to make room.
I'm laying this out there for everyone. Majority will rule here. If you'd rather not have this rule, and instead have it where it's to your discretion to bring the player up or not we can do that. It would be up to you when you want to bring them up, but you can't send them back down to your protected list/minor leagues unless they are sent down in real life by their team.
Thoughts................

I would perfer not to bring them up on opening day. It buys me time to see how they are going to develop. It also makes the draft more valuable. Under the current rules the last 3 draft spots would be of no value to me cause i would need those spots for the 3 players that will probably be on the opening day roster.

Agreed. I would rather not have to bring up prospects on opening day if I didn't have to.
That then brings up another question....who qualifies as a prospect? Any player who spent all of part of last season in the minors?

As far as prospect goes..........is the guy on your minor league roster or minor league system at the end of last year. If so, then he can stay there and doesn't have to be brought up even if he makes the opening day roster.
If a guy, like Jon Lester, breaks camp and vies for a starting job, but gets sent down to AAA when opening day starts for whatever reason, then he would then be able to be placed on the minor league protected list.
