I did a search for Sano, but he never came up. Please list all keepers before we begin drafting from now on.
In place of Sano, I'll take... Nick Castellanos/3B/Tigers
The Rays select... Jerry Sands/1B/Dodgers
The A's are on the clock...

Someone missing on that list for me is Domonic Brown. He didn't reach the AB limit this last year, and he may be on the roster come opening day, but there's a chance he may be in the minors again. So he's protected as of right now. I'll promote him if he's on the roster come opening day.

Typically we do the Majors Keeper lists due a week or so before we do the majors draft. I'm assuming that we won't start the Majors draft until we get this Minors draft out of the way that was supposed to be done last August.
GPF, regarding Domonic Brown... Since he's a Phillies prospect, he technically doesn't have to be on your 20-man list. The main reason to put a guy on your list is to protect your rights to him in the event he gets traded outside your organization. An example of this is Nick Hagadone. He was on my protected list prior to being dealt to the Tribe in the real life V-Mart deal, so I retained his rights. Back in the case of D.Brown, you technically won't have to promote him to your majors roster all the way up to the season after he surpasses the limits. We're trying to simplify this, so that Ken doesn't have to keep track of everybody's prospects' IPs and ABs all season long...

The guys in WVTF's list above were simply last year's account of non-franchise owned prospects. Thus, D.Brown wouldn't have been chronicled in that list.

I got ya, TribesFan. I do want to protect him though because the Phillies have made a MAJOR trade involving prospects every year for the last 3-4 years. You just never know, and I REALLY like Brown. I lost a couple good prospects with those Halladay and Lee trades cause I wasn't paying attention, lol. Also, I thought the new rule (or maybe its an old one, I don't know!) was that if a prospects starts the season on the opening day roster, he had to be added within a certain amount of time, despite his AB's. Anyway, thanks for the explanation.

Okay, I just realized I misread something, so forget what I just said about the opening day roster. Brown hasn't reached the AB threshold, so he's good. I still want to protect him cause you never know with the Phillies. They may want FIVE aces on their staff! I love it!

We got rid of that Opening Day roster clause starting this year. Too many guys started on the opening day roster and then were sent down again until September. One less thing to keep track of also. Simplify, simplify, simplify.

Simplify, simplify, simplify. How about the players that started on the 2010 opening day roster and then proceded to get hurt for the season "and then some" and are still under thier innings allowed? Lets use Strasburg as an example lol...
