You might be right, Canes...
There's a good chance that 2 of those 5 prospects never reach the majors! 1-2 of them could become role players... and only 1 becomes an impact player. You never know with prospects!!

If you are interested in picking up another Minor League pick, let me know... I'll entertain offers for 1 or more of my remaining picks.

By the way... Since this deal did not involve 2 players within the Yahoo Database, Canes is going to have to "Drop" Randy Johnson through our league website. Once he clears waivers, Ray will simply have to add him as if he were a Free Agent pitcher.

The A's and Yankees have made a Deal. With New York's Minor League system in Shambles The Yankees Send Aging and Disgruntled Pitcher Randy Johnson to The Oakland Athletic's in exchange for their Five remaining picks. Yankees feel that with Mark Prior soon to be off the D.L. (and maybe back on it) and the wealth of Free Agent Pitchers looking for a Home right now, That they do not want to come away empty handed once Mr. Johnson's Baseball carrer ends. Also the Top Rated Yankees feel they can only better themselves with the extra Draft Picks. This a a win/win situation for both ballclubs, The A's get a HOF pitcher who is winding down his career and The Yankees get the youth to help them in the Future. The Trade goes as follows: To Oak:SP - Randy Johnson To NYY:The following Five Picks below. Pick #62, a.) Athletics (Ray), c.) Athletics (Ray), d.) Athletics (Ray), h.) Athletics (Ray), Supplemental Round (skipped picks) A's to confirm later. At this stage of his career, I'm not sure that Big Unit is worth 5 prospects, but ummm... OK... I guess I can buy it.

Since he has 2 picks in a row, his deadline is Monday night for these two picks... I'm sure he'll be online before then to make the selections.

I think Salsero picked ________ last time, but lost out because his time had expired... If he doesn't stop by to make his pick, we'll give him that guy.
