Okay, I just realized I misread something, so forget what I just said about the opening day roster. Brown hasn't reached the AB threshold, so he's good. I still want to protect him cause you never know with the Phillies. They may want FIVE aces on their staff! I love it!

I got ya, TribesFan. I do want to protect him though because the Phillies have made a MAJOR trade involving prospects every year for the last 3-4 years. You just never know, and I REALLY like Brown. I lost a couple good prospects with those Halladay and Lee trades cause I wasn't paying attention, lol. Also, I thought the new rule (or maybe its an old one, I don't know!) was that if a prospects starts the season on the opening day roster, he had to be added within a certain amount of time, despite his AB's. Anyway, thanks for the explanation.

Someone missing on that list for me is Domonic Brown. He didn't reach the AB limit this last year, and he may be on the roster come opening day, but there's a chance he may be in the minors again. So he's protected as of right now. I'll promote him if he's on the roster come opening day.

Sorry about the confusion ya'll. I must admit I'm not well versed in the 1,000 page league manual........that's just me being sarcastic, please don't anybody take that personal or start crying. I love ya'll very much.

I usually just avoid players that don't have many AB's or IP. I figure someone owns them somehow....Maybe that's why I haven't finished better than 10th.

Okay, this has nothing to do with rules, but I just want to say.... I'm excited about the year Hamels is going to have if he stays healthy. He's added a cutter and he's throwing his curve with confidence this year, something he lacked last year.....And I can't wait until Brown comes up! I'll miss Werth when the Phils let him go, but man, Brown looks good! Just thought I'd throw that out there for all you Indians fans. Would love to see the Phillies beat the Indians in the Series!
