Well, the guys I was targeting in round 7 are long gone, so I'm willing to trade my 8.2 pick if anyone is interested.

Yeah, but that may take a while. There are already two real catchers ahead of him. At least he'll be seeing more ABs in SEA, even though that place is a canyon.

I suggest that those who do not check the draft on a regular basis, send lists to someome who could make their picks.
I would also propose that for next year, if a manager misses his 6 hour window, his time window becomes 3 hours per pick, until he makes 2 consecutive picks within that window, at which time he returns to 6 hours. If a second pick window is missed (3 or 6), that manager will be reduced to a two hour window. Thoughts?

Seconded! Would also like to suggest a smaller window for the whole draft on sat and sun, maybe 4 hrs.

I suggest that those who do not check the draft on a regular basis, send lists to someome who could make their picks. I second this. There are some of us who are online thruout the day. We'll be glad to make your pick for you if you know that you'll be away from your computer. As for the time window, I was already thinking about making it 5 hours next year. I don't want to make too drastic of a change, but would like to pick up the pace a bit as many of us are in multiple leagues & it's confusing when more than 1 draft is going on at a time. Any thoughts on a 5 hour window next year?

Yea I agree the length of these drafts are insane. I think 4 hours is plenty. I am online several times a day I wouldn't mind helping out others who cant!!!!

The 5 hr time limit is a good one. Interesting take Winker. Maybe make it 4 hrs and not 3 hrs. During the workweek 3 hrs can come and go fast if someone doesn't have consistent access to this site during the day.

During the workweek 3 hrs can come and go fast if someone doesn't have consistent access to this site during the day. Another solution is bumping to 8 hours and making it a 24 hour clock, as I'm doing in this other league I'm in. Works beautifully. You check the last pick made just before you hit the sack and you know if you're likely to be up by the morning. The time between midnight and 7 AM is what is currently being lost. If not, I don't mind reducing it to 5 hours or as was suggested, penalizing an owner who runs the clock out.

I disagree with changing the rules of the draft in the middle of said draft.

We're not changing for this draft...just kicking around ideas to speed up future drafts.
