The way we've treated these international free agents in the past, who go straight to the big leagues, is that they are fair game for the draft. Otherwise teams like the Yanks, Mets, Red Sox, and Dodgers are disproportionately advantaged for these players.

Jim, can you or Brian edit the Rules & Regs to reflect this so I don't forget it again next year. And can we assume the international players that go undrafted in both drafts default to the franchise team. As for example Alfredo Aceves defaulted to Canes. Well, at least in my mind he defaulted to Canes last year.
